Any suggestions for laminate for kitchen. Will be going over sheet vinyl. 12x16 area. Would probably use glued product since the glueless is fairly new. Has anyone tried Armstrong's laminate? The Pergo original looks to be an 'older' design(paper back instead of laminate, and pressed board instead of fiberboard.)Has anyone tried the glueless in a kitchen? I am finding that not all laminate products are available in certain areas. In NJ,Pergo,Armstrong,Mannington, and Bruce seem to be popular. Also, being it is not an 'easy' room with many cutouts and 4 entrances, should I avoid the DIY project on this one. The difference in cost is about $500. BTW,is the heavier underlayer being offered worth the extra $100?
