I'm going to hang on a limb here, but, If the yellow spots are or seem to be uniform on the flooring, they may be caused by underlay nail discoloration. If the installer used nails and patched with a gypsum-based patching compound. The color transmission is caused by the glue and moisture. Glenn is correct, they're not removeable.
: Probably not removable. What has caused the yellow spots? Do you know? What underlaynment was the flooring installed over?
