: ......i am going to install 20 yr. balterio laminate in dining room and living room(not on site yet)........i have not had any luck finding installation procedure for underlayment(just recieved today)........i know that that sounds pretty stupid, but i purchased balterio's 'multisilver 2 in 1' underlayment and it has a foil like surface for the moisture barrier........one edge, of course, extends the foil over the foam portion by about 2" for the lap.........my question is, since there is no adhesive strip or any similar form to stick the lap down to the next sheet.........i will assume that this will just be taped with masking or some such tape, but i do not know for certain........the underlayment membrane should not be stapled, right?????.........additionally, it would seem that the underlayment would go foil side up, but again w/o directions i could use the advice of someone who has had experience with this 'multisilver' product........thanx for any direction or advice that can be provided.........best wishes, bill

bill -- don't you just hate it when no one answers your call for help?? I don't have the answer for you, and I don't know where you purchased it, but there's a web site called internetfloors.com who sells it -- they have a customer service number. maybe by this time, you've already installed it - let me know how you did it and also how you like your floor. I was leaning toward the "traditions" in that line. thanks. patti
