Help!!! I own a 1 year old house with the noisiest floors ever. The builder has had a worker back to add more nails below carpets(hasn't helped. Someone told me subfloor(partical board) should be screwed and not nailed. Also the whole main floor sqeaks and creaks like crazt especially when the house is warm. I've been told that shims should de glued betwen joists and subfloor and then screwed. Will this work? Please advise so I can have intelligent discussion with my bulider . Thanks, Kevin
