I'll give it a shot to help you better. The mention of "house being warm" says alot and I'm assuming we're speaking of the heating being ON...sounds like ordinary shrinkage. I'm not crazy about flake board(OSB...etc)..who is using this stuff? I've asked that before somewhere as I RARELY see it..but being in hurricane country(Fla) I guess that answers my question.

Screws are a good answer. In the framing phase they should have at least tried using ring shank nails and liquid nail. I've always suggested if you can access the subfloor from underneath use cedar shims between the joists and the flake board. But then I've never tried it...sure with a sturdy CDX plywood. Maybe you have alternating joist configurations as well, which are rubbing against one another..

Can anybody else help Kevin?
