Silvio, how did you determine that Harmonics is a bottom of the line product. My research and reports from users put Harmonics/UNICLIC in the mid to upper level although not the best. Their system for joining the planks is patented and licensed to Pergo in Europe. I have personally had a good experience with this product but the installation is only about 6 months old. We plan to take your advice about removing shoes and using rugs on the fllor we are goning to install next week in our LR and BR. Thanks!
: Some people have good experiences, some have bad.
: Installation is a big factor, but also remember this:
: Harmonics is not the top of the line, it is towards the bottom. If you want to make this floor last a long time like a superior laminate, it will need some help from whoever lives on it.
: Clean it right, take off the shoes, buy area rugs to help protect, furniture protectors and chair protectors, keep the humidity levels as constant as possible.
: You should still do these things if you buy a higher quality laminate, but with the lower ones, it is more mandatory.
