Thanks for the quick reply. The crawl space has the vapor barrier installed and is well vented. The moisture damage on the old vinyl and luan came from a backed up air conditioner drain, since repaired. The local home center told my wife since we were pulling up the old flooring we must put a vapor barrier down between the sub -floor and the Armstrong Swiftlock. I don't see mention of that in their literature. _____________________________________________________________________________
: : I am planning to install the Armstrong Swiftlock Gardenstone series floor in my kitchen. It with be installed on a plywood subfloor over a vented crawl space. Is any additional vapor barrier required? The old vinyl and luan are being removed due to non-recurring water damage. Also is there any program or other aide to use in planning a layout. The kitchen has many corners, offsets and angles.
