Once you get it down properly it should work fine in the Vegas area. You have the right idea about the throw rugs at entrances, particulate and blowing sand etc. is a floor killer. Even in your area moisture from the concrete sub floor is present so be sure and put down a polyethylene barrier.

: I am on the Harmonics Band Wagon because of the price. I purchased hamonics at Costco over the July 4th weekend. I have read all the communication on the website regarding product status, durability, and care. Now that more people have installed it I would like to know how you like it. I live in a dry desert climate with little humidity. I have two medium size dogs, one timid and shy and one very rambuctious. I do not plan to use the flooring in places where there is no water, i.e. kitchen, laundry room, bathrooms and wet bar. One thing I am worried about is always removing your shoes when entering the house. That is something that we just cannot do all the time. Yes I will have an area rug when entering the house and at the dog door but it will not catch all the dirt. I have not installed any of the 1400 sq foot that I puchased and can change to to ceramic tile in high traffic areas if necessary. Please holler back. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
