: after removing the indoor outdoor carpet that was glued down on our concrete patio, I am wondering how to get the rest of the glue off so that I can paint the concrete. Any suggestions besides just using a scraper?

It depends on weather or not your carpet was glued over a sealed concrete floor. If the concrete was NOT sealed, I dont think you will get the results you wish because the adhesive might have actually embedded itself into the pourous concrete.

Try scraping ... scrape ALOT ... thats what we do.

I have heard of various solvent-based liquid products that can remove adhesive, but I am umfarmiliar with them. Call a local reputable flooring store for more info.

You very well may NOT be able to stain the flooring without still seeing "trowel-marks" from the original carpet installation.

Good Luck !
