Insights needed please! Does anyone have any insights on the durability and appropriateness of using the Kahrs Linnea in kitchen, dining, entry and powder room in a very active house (kids and dog in and out all the time). I had one dealer who I felt very confident w/ tell me it would hold up well (due to 6 coat urethane) and another completely aghast that I would even consider it and thought it irresponisble of the other dealer. How do you begin to sort out who's "right". I love the color of the cherry 3 strip life and am having a hard time finding what I'm looking for in the price range - you know- champagne taste, beer budget -- any suggestions (besides laminate)
