I have laminate flooring in a basement office. The laminate was glued directly to the basement slab. I want to replace the worn out laminate with hardwood floors. should I remove the laminate and glue or glue the new hard wood directly to the laminate. I am concerned that removing that laminate and glue will be difficult and give an uneven surface if I cant get up all of the glue. but I am also worried that the hardwoods will not stick to the laminate. Any ideas?
