Thanks for the advice guys! I am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel with this job. Having not read your advice earlier, I was winging it on my own. The "directions" that came with Seagrass were sketchy at best.

CONTACT CEMENT for seam bonding!! I thought I was the only person who used that little trick. I was a bit worried about it reacting badly with the product since it wasnt specifically recomended. Im glad that it has been a tried and true thing, since I used it on all of my seams.

The carpet did have a chance to adjust to room temp, and I was aware of the recomended trowel notch size 1/8x1/8 inch. I DIDNT use stay nails of any sort, but I did use tacker staples, many of them on the seam, which I was able to completely hide underneathe the one loop. This worked because it was a direct glue down, with no padding underneathe. I would hate to install this on concrete though.

I did find that my wall trimmer seemed to trim
the walls on side cuts very well. The "head" cuts are damned near impossible though. It seems that their should be an electric knife or something to cut this with.

Now what to do with all of these SPLINTERS on my knuckles!

Thanks again!
Selena
